We've been admiring Cara Janelle's work since before we started Mended with Gold. The colours and textures are so strongly reminiscent of the Catalan coast, with its deep blues and rough and ragged coastlines. It's no wonder that several Michelin starred restaurants from around the world have chosen her ceramics as vessels to showcase their painstakingly-made dishes.
We were beside ourselves when Cara reached out to us to do a collaboration with her. These plates have been auctioned out, benefiting the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
